Recipient of two Jerome Fellowships (2004-2005 and 2005-2006) and a 2006-2007 McKnight Advancement Grant at The Playwrights' Center. Her work has been produced and developed around the country by groups including The Guthrie, New Georges, HERE Arts Center, The Empty Space Theater, Circle X, Synchronicity, The Red Eye, Bloomington Playwrights Project, Hypothetical Theater Company,Overlap, ESP, Chicago Dramatists, Urban Stages and HB Playwrights' Foundation.

Plays include D O E, SAND, ELECTROPUSS, the award-winning PATTY RED PANTS and the campy cult hit CHICKS WITH DICKS-Bad Girls On Bikes Doing Bad Things.

Commissions include WADE THE BIRD (The Guthrie, available through Playscripts), STU AND RAY (New Georges) and TERRA AUSTRALIS INCOGNITO (The Production Company).

Trista is an Affiliated Artist of New Georges, a founding member of the Workhaus Collective and a Core Member of The Playwrights' Center.
